About the diary
What format and material is the diary?
The diary comes in the handy A6 format. You choose a cover in blue faux leather or nappa leather, silver or gold embossing and adhesive or thread-sewn binding. Every book is handmade by a bookbindery in Dresden.
What is inside the diary?
Pages for the initiation, the Fellowcraft journeys, the passing with the Fellowcraft certificate and the raising with the Master Mason certificate – plus 50 pages “My chain of union” to record your lodge visits. The look inside (PDF) gives you an impression.
Is the paper suitable for lodge stamps?
Yes. The beige paper is absorbent for stamp ink and fountain pen ink, suitable for embossing and therefore printed on one side only.
Is there an English edition?
Yes. You choose the language – German or English – on the diary page. This shop is also available in German via the language switch at the top.
Personalisation and lodges
Can I have my existing lodge passport bound in?
Yes, with the personalisation for Masons: we bind your existing A6 certificates into your diary to a high standard. We talk the binding through with you by phone beforehand.
Can our lodge jewel go on the cover?
Yes, for 10 books or more with the personalisation for lodges. We check the artwork beforehand; if embossing is not possible, the eye remains on the cover and we refund the cost of the option. More on the page For lodges.
Ordering, shipping and payment
How long does delivery take?
The delivery time is stated on each product. Personalisations extend it. The books are handmade and shipped to you directly by our bookbindery.
Where do you deliver?
To Germany, the EU and Switzerland. You will find the costs under Shipping and payment. Import charges may be due on deliveries to Switzerland.
How can I pay?
Payment is processed securely by our payment provider Stripe. The available payment methods are shown to you during checkout.
Is there a gift voucher?
Yes. With the gift voucher you choose the value yourself. It arrives as a PDF by email, is valid until the end of the third year after purchase and can be redeemed in the shop. Any remaining balance is kept.
Can I withdraw from an order for a personalised book?
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications. This concerns the personalisations. You will find all details in the withdrawal policy.
What about the donation?
Every year we donate 10 % of our profit from the sale of the diary to a charitable organisation. We choose anew each year which people we support.
