The Diary of the Search leaning against a stone wall

For the modern Freemason

The Diary of the Search

Your Masonic life in one book – from initiation through the Fellowcraft journeys to the Master Mason certificate. German craftsmanship in the handy A6 format.

My beloved Brother,

I am delighted that you are visiting. If your journey has brought you here, you are surely a Freemason on the right path. Be heartily welcome.

If, like me, you would like to record your Masonic life in a small diary, you have come to the right place. I have been a Freemason for many years myself and travel a great deal, both privately and on business. My travels have already taken me to many lodges.

Preserve your memories

Memories are what matter most. To capture them elegantly and simply, I developed the Diary of the Search.

Inspired by our lodge passports, it is tailored precisely to the needs of the modern, travelling Freemason. A whole Masonic life fits into this little book – from the initiation, the Fellowcraft journeys and the passing with the Fellowcraft certificate to the raising with the Master Mason certificate. On top of that there are 50 further pages for your onward travels.

For the internationally travelling Brother, the book is also available in English.

Quality before price

Top quality matters more to me than cheap production, because the book is meant to last a whole lifetime and beyond. Together with an outstanding bookbinder, we created a durable and robust book that can be handed down to younger generations. At the same time, this supports regional craftsmanship.

The format is the handy A6 with a classic, high-quality binding. The paper is absorbent for stamp ink and fountain pen ink as well as suitable for embossing, which is why it is printed on one side only. It is deliberately kept in a light beige to guard against the traces of time.

Who is the diary for?

For the Fellowcraft

The book is meant to be presented to the newly passed Fellowcraft as his personal diary during the ceremony of passing.

For the Master Mason

Do you already have a lodge passport with stamps? We will bind your existing certificates into your diary to a high standard, provided they are in A6 format. Simply book the option “Personalisation for Masons” and send me your certificates by registered mail. You will receive the finished book back by registered mail as well.

The eye on the cover

For lodges

Your lodge jewel on the cover

For lodge orders of 10 books or more, the diary can be personalised for your lodge: instead of the eye, your lodge jewel is embossed on the cover, and the title page inside the book is printed with the image of the jewel. Simply book the option “Personalisation for Lodges”.

We check the artwork beforehand, because not every jewel is suitable for the embossing technique. If embossing is not possible, the eye remains on the cover and we refund the cost of the option.

Lodge personalisation

Our building block

Brotherly love, relief and truth – we take them at their word: every year we donate 10 % of our profit from the sale of the diary to a charitable organisation. We choose anew each year which people we support. In this way, every diary lays a small stone in building the Temple of Humanity.

All that remains is for me to wish you a good journey with many wonderful encounters. Build your own Masonic network – your very own chain of union.

I look forward to your order and remain, with warm fraternal greetings,

Your Brother
